Below is a list of basic tips to help you pass the test.

1. When the examiner says at the end of the road turn left or right make sure you put the correct signal on. Also do not signal if there is a side road before the end of the road until you are passing that side road.

2. When the examiner says at the end of the road turn left or right ask yourself is this a give way junction or a stop junction. Remember STOP means stop even if it is safe to go.

3. If you are on multi lane roads do not miss any mirrors and signal before moving into that lane and make sure you do not change lanes until you know that it is safe to do so.

4. When performing your manoeuvre make sure that you do not miss your blind spot checks and keep the car moving slowly so that you do not touch the kerb.

5. Check all road signs so that you do not miss any speed changes and that you are prepared for what is coming up.

6. On approach to roundabouts make sure that you are in the correct lane for were you are supposed to be going.

7. When asked to take the next road on the right. Look to see if there is a seperate lane for you to move into to turn right. If there is you must move into this lane.
